Kansas River Bridge and Plaza Improvement projects
The roadway widening between Topeka and Lecompton is complete. Now, the KTA will begin making improvements at Plazas 202 and 204 and replacing the double Kansas River Bridge near Lawrence. The bridges will reach the end of their useful lives by 2012.
