Clarifications:
The deadline for proposals is 3 p.m. CDT, not CST as originally posted.

The Selection Process and the Terms & Conditions sections of the request have been combined as follows:
KDOT and KTA anticipate making a selection on the merits of written proposal submissions and cost proposals. Should KDOT and KTA determine that oral presentations are required, proposers will be given at least one week’s notice in advance of the presentation date. All proposers will be notified of the final selection.
Proposers are advised that the selected consultant will be asked to enter into an agreement with KTA and that all deliverables under the contract will become the property of KTA and KDOT to use as they see fit.

Question 1: Are you at liberty to disclose what amount KTA and KDOT have agreed to set aside for the conduct of the project? This will help us match your expectations for the level of detail expected for this four month study.
Answer: No, we are not going to reveal the budget.

Question 2: In submitting writing samples, will two hard copies be sufficient, i.e. one set for KDOT and one set for KTA?
Answer: Yes, two sets of copies will be sufficient.

Question 3: Is it possible to obtain a sample of the Standard form of contract and standard terms and conditions that may be applied to this contract?
Answer: No, we do not have a standard contract.

Question 4: In some cases, the release of work samples is considered confidential by the client. In those cases, may we submit references in lieu of actual work samples?
Answer: No, please submit work samples.
